Privacy policy
Data controller. Next Work Site (see the legal notice). Contact for your data: contact@nextworkstep.com.
What we keep. Your e-mail, nickname and password (encrypted, never readable); your game (level, stock, sales, block, avatar, cosmetics, trophies); your chat messages and private messages; the reports you make or that target you; if you turn them on, the technical address of your notifications; and technical server logs (IP address, login dates) for security.
Why. To run your account and your game (performance of the terms of use); to moderate the chat, handle reports, fight cheating and abuse (legitimate interest and legal obligations); to improve the game through aggregate statistics drawn from games, without trackers (legitimate interest); to send you the notifications you asked for (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the menu).
What we don't do. No advertising, no selling of data, no advertising trackers or third-party audience measurement. The game's fonts are hosted with it; the weather is read by our server, with no data about you.
On your device. The game keeps a few settings in your browser (session, sound, music, graphics, notifications). They're needed for it to work and serve no other purpose: no consent banner is therefore required.
Who has access. The game team, and our host Railway, which processes data on our behalf. Server countries and safeguards: [to be completed, Railway offers servers in Europe].
How long. Account data, for as long as the account exists. Deleting from the player menu immediately erases your game, your messages and your account; a request by e-mail is handled within 30 days. Reports and technical logs: 1 year at most. [Retention periods to be confirmed.]
Your rights. You can access your data and keep a copy ("Download my data", at the bottom of the player menu), have it deleted ("Delete my account", in the same place), correct it, object to or restrict processing, by writing to contact@nextworkstep.com. If you believe your rights aren't being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
