Terms of use

1. Purpose. These terms govern the use of the game Neon Barons, published by Next Work Site (see the legal notice). Creating an account means accepting them.

2. Age. The game is for people aged 12 and over. Under 15, signing up requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Account. One account per person. Keep your password secret; whatever is done from your account is your responsibility. Your nickname must not impersonate anyone or be offensive.

4. Rules of conduct. In the chat, private messages and nicknames: no insults, harassment, hateful or discriminatory remarks, sexual or violent content, advertising, links or personal details. No cheating: no automated tools, no deliberate exploitation of a bug, no multiple accounts to gain an advantage.

5. Reporting and moderation. Anyone can report a message or a player with the ⚑ flag. The team reviews reports and may remove a message, cut off chat access for a while or suspend an account, depending on severity. An abusive report may itself be punished. 6. Game currencies. Creds and Neons have no real-money value: they can't be resold, exchanged for money or refunded. Neons are only for appearance (cosmetics). If buying Neons opens later, terms of sale will spell it out.

7. Availability. The game is in development: it may be interrupted for maintenance, and its balance rules may change. We do our best to keep it available, without being able to guarantee it at all times.

8. Ending your account. You can delete your account at any time from the player menu ("Delete my account", with your password), or by writing to contact@nextworkstep.com. An account that seriously breaks these rules may be suspended or deleted.

9. Changes. These terms may change; the current version is always here. In case of a major change, the game lets you know.

10. Governing law. These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, we first look for an amicable solution by writing to contact@nextworkstep.com.
